About Christina

Thanks to the Alexander Technique I managed to rid myself of a lifelong back pain and regular stress-related headaches which both turned out to be completely self-inflicted. The technique also enables me to think and react differently, creating a fresh outlook on my life.

I completed a three-year full-time training course
at “The Constructive Teaching Centre in London”, the world’s longest established centre for teachers of the Alexander Technique. Its director, the late Walter Carrington (1915-2005) was trained by F.M. Alexander himself and worked for many years as his main assistant, subsequently taking over the school after Alexander’s death.

After graduation I taught Alexander Technique in my practice in Hampstead, at a Health Centre (Bodywise in Bethnal Green), at drama schools (ALRA / Mountview) and at corporations (BBC Club, an architect’s office).

I am a registered member of the Swiss Professional Society of the Alexander Technique SBAT
and a complementary therapist with eidg. Diploma.
